A question for the general populous about me personally

RE: A question for the general populous about me personally
You strike me as an extremely obvious spinmeister, tbh.

In my observation it seems that you make a concerted effort to promote positive, upbeat, "feel-good" Christianity.
It's quite apparent to me however, that the version you attempt to sell is cherry-picked to the gills....And that you damn well know it. Lol

In my perception, it seems that you've adopted this strategy of simply telling non-believers whatever you think they want to hear because you're either not competent or confident enough to make the case for your faith based on the entirety of it's tenets, or you simply don't feel like it because it's "too hard".
It's quite the losing strategy IMO, because it not only fails to offer anything compelling in regards to the credulity of the religious claims, but also paints you personally as not-so-cleverly deceptive and dishonest, and dare I say...quite lazy; a real Master of Avoidance. At least when it comes to the topic of religion, anyway.

You seem reasonably smart and capable of making an intelligent argument, so I won't assume that those are your go-to tactics when it comes to discussing other matters.

Don't be mad, bro.
You asked for an honest assessment, so I gave you one. Smile

Brave Christian to ask for a performance appraisal from a bunch of anonymous atheists. Usually a mistake to rely on the good will and compassion of others.

I rarely agree with the things you post. I think you stand out in a relatively positive way because of the deeply ignorant and at times downright stupid post of other Christians here.

I also think you post with great thought and caution. I'm not entirely convinced of your sincerity.

I think you've had enough mauling from others, so won't bother to be blunt.

It's about your perception of how I communicate what I believe. Also, neither of you really answered the question. I'll take you opinions because I didn't make this a serious thread for a reason. Let me rephrase:

If you had to list things you think you know about me that I've expressed here, would there be more things I am for or more things I am against? It's a simple binary answer, but you can expound if you would like.

Sure, you asked.

You are one of those watered down apolegetic christians who somehow feels the need to make excuses for your stupid deity of choice up to and including outright lies.

If you are going to make up crap, at least make up plausible crap.

I'd assume because atheist are generally people and can be compassionate, and that they don't really care what Christians unless it affects them.
Now I can see a shit ton of reasons for anti-thesits would not want to assist. But I've already gotten one anti-theist to contribute. I'm just trying to stem hatred where I can in my own personal social circle. Feel free not to contribute, it's just a poll for an opinion.

That's a mistake. Atheists dont hate you, we think you are deluded and need help. Most atheists would have sympathy that you so suffer. Some might get aggressive.

I'd say that people aren't against you personally.

In many ways, this site is an atheist safe space. Statements against religion are encouraged and held to a very low standard. Even if the statement is historically wrong, wildly over-simplified, or just plain bigoted, there is little chance it will be challenged.

Providing any sort of counter to that makes you a target for pre-existing emotions. You serve a useful purpose in that 1) you give people somebody to argue with, and 2) we can feel good about ourselves if we're not entirely mean to you.

Question/survey: Have you or do you plan on murdering many innocent people based on your religious ideology in the next 12 months?

If not, then you're OK in my book.

Perhaps the title is too misleading or the OP wasn't clearly stated. While I knew full well this was an opportunity for taking pot shots at a theist, and I've been about 85% right on who would ignore the question to do that, allow me to make some statements in response and then rephrase for clarity.

I'm not mad at all @Thena323 I prefer my honesty brutally when I ask for it. Your opinion is noted and thanks.

@fredd bear it takes very little courage to do anything on an internet forum. There's nothing I do on here that I haven't and won't do/say in person. Please feel free to be blunt if you'd like to expand, although that's not the question of topic. This will probably devolve into a place reserved for

@Abaddon_ire I wasn't referring to Atheist hating me. I was talking about lowering the emotionalism and hatred, mainly of christians, I teach. Your opinion is duly noted.

@Belaqua I never said people were against me, here or IRL. I'm actually quite loved and blessed.

@Thena323 @fredd bear @Abaddon_ire @The Valkyrie @Belaqua - I'm not really looking for a personal critique of me or my apologetic style, or my beliefs, or my hair, or my sexy voice. The question is a binary one:

Do you believe, from any interactions I've had here, that :
A) you believe you could state more of what tackattack, as presented here, stands for
B) you believe you could state more of what tackattack, as presented here, stands against

If you'd like to give a percentage of how much you perceive one over the other that's about all the furtherance required. Although I believe release is also catharsis, please feel free to vent about me on whatever level makes you happy.

Dude, I TOLD you that I think you go out of your way to promote only positive, feel-good Christianity.
Yes, I also was volunteered more information than you requested in stating that I regarded it as little more than disingenuous chirping, but I DID answer your question in accordance to the specification in the OP.

I made it pretty clear that to my observations, you're extremely reluctant to discuss anything that you're actually against in accordance to your religious beliefs for fear that it might disrupt your happy-go-lucky, hippie Jesus, tell-em what-they-want-hear sugarcoating.
