I rarely remember what I dreamed during night

No, it's not because of depth of sleep.  It's because your brain goes through a series of steps in waking up.  There's not much use in walking around during the day with vivid memories of fucking your dog or seeing your grandmother naked.

If you set a violently jarring alarm (possibly randomized by a computer), you will definitely remember dreams.  But it's important not to go back to sleep without writing them down-- you THINK you're fully awake even in the middle stages of wakefulness, and will likely forget your dream content.

I almost never remember my dreams. This seems to correlate with copious amounts of weed I knock myself out with on a daily basis... Another benefit of drug abuse, I guess.

Maybe not so hard to remember my dreams but making sense of them. They usually take place in several places at once with several plots happening at once and even characters constantly change so perhaps they only make sense to me.

But I guess if I wake up early in the morning and then fall asleep then those early morning dreams are more coherent and more movie-like and also more enjoyable.

Yep - necroposting - sue me.

I seldom remember dreams. A couple days ago though I woke up after having a very vivid dream about discussing nail polish with Michelle Obama. I would really like to hear what someone who claims to interpret dreams has to say about that randomness.

Oddly, the last dream I can remember is one I had during my recent colonoscopy. I dreamt that I was riding a horse across a lawn.

This makes a twisted sort of sense to me, but that probably says more about me than the dream.

I make no such claims, but I can get pretty close.  It's a commentary on the artificial standards of beauty and the great lengths taken to achieve social acceptance based on these.  Given that it was MO, that also elevates it to a commentary on racism based upon superficial aspects such as appearance.

Total bullshit I just wrote, but I guarantee you I could get some number of people to pay to hear it if I put forward that god was telling me this.

I realize now that I occasionally remember my dreams. It's not that they're easily forgettable. Most of my dreams are pretty whack. It's just that I've had so much whack shit in my life that they don't stand out from the background. Therefore they're easily forgotten. Plus I don't think they mean anything anyway.

Yesterday husband was telling me that lately he's been dreaming about things from his childhood and younger years. I told him about my Michelle Obama dream...he simply said, "You win."

I think probably the weirdest dream I've ever had was that I was having sex with the neon reification of a symbol that I didn't recognize. I was on a high dose of Prozac at the time and went straight from being awake to dreaming without actually falling asleep -- I was dreaming while wide awake.
