What a bizarre non sequitur. I wasn't talking about light. I was talking about how the earth did not exist before the sun. Planets are formed in accretion disks around a star. Planets do not just form on their own.
The sun is a star with a high metallicity. The planets formed around the sun with some metals as a consequence, but mostly hydrogen and helium due to those gases being the major ingredient of the universe. Solar radiation whisked the hydrogen and helium away. This is why the gas giants are far away and the terrestrial planets are close up.
The Bible says that God created the earth first. That is not the correct order of events.

You said your ideas are compatible with evolution. This is not. Humans are not a special creation. We share retrovirus signatures with mammals with the expected frequency predicted by the branches of evolution. Which means we are related to animals biologically, which means we share a common ancestor. So if we were special creation, God created us with the illusion of evolution. At this point we may as well be talking about Last Thursdayism.
