Because the man who can develop/owns a company who only job is to connect the human brain to a computer, which happenes to be on the brink of tying the human brain directly to an AI and communicate with it on a computer speed level know nothing about AI's..

This super crazy living genius of our day has spent a billion dollars opening up a company that allows humans to jack into a computer at computer speeds. in 1998 there was a movie call the matrix that demonstrated what it would be like it we had a direct nural link to computers.

Do you still not get it?

Elon himself says if you could access the internet/AI at this speed it would take your consciousness and supplant it in the AI/internet. Meaning you could up load your essence to the internet (to the cloud so to speak) and live indefinitely. You could also shift your consciousness back and fourth in this world and the internet/AI hosted world.

Now do you get it stupid?

I'm not using terms like souls heaven or hell. Neither is elon. he is telling what he has spent a billion dollars on and what he said he is inside of a year going to be able to do.

Now in your tiny little mind compartmentalize that as scientific fact...

Not to mention running out of money is not the end of a company. it simply means assets must be reallocated. 
The point is you can not dismiss a genius because 1 of 10 world changing things he is doing is not doing measuring up to how stupid people measure success.

No, this is about Musk being a business man (see Mathildas original post). One of his businesses being a certain company (see my reply). Its not really that hard, isnt it?
Its "patent" by the way.
Its also a known fact that, while the design of his cars is quite appealing (i love it in fact!) and the battery and electronics tech in his cars is superb, the general automotive tech (particularly construction of the body) is quite sub-par, which is quite surprising since this is pretty established for decades now.

Oh, yes, i love the falcon rockets.  

Im not claiming he sfeeble minded, he just may not be "the saviour" (although we know you love these kinda guys).
