Moon is part of Mars

RE: Moon is part of Mars
No, Boru, as Succubus tried to explain the America has reached its boundaries of creativity and inventiveness. It will never send humans to Mars because nobody in US knows how to do it. So find another country to root for like China or Japan - they have much more promising space programs. Nothing is impossible for them. America has dried out of creativity and inventiveness.

Oh wait... EAT YOUR HEART OUT Succubus!

Not sure what you're getting at, but OK.

I don't doubt that the US or China could send humans to Mars, I just think doing so is inadvisable and unnecessary.

Trips to Mars are like abortions. If you don't like 'em, don't have 'em.

This isn't just a strawman it's a blatant lie, I said no such thing.

No. Nobody knows how to do it!

I'll do that when this thing:

https://www.nasa.gov/feature/langley/nas...-pressure/

Can be scaled up to put a human habitat* payload ~30/60 tons on Mars. Ok, let's assume it can be scaled up, how do we steer the thing if there's a dust storm when we arrive? The planners had better not be too particular regarding where the thing comes down.

Edit:* The payload is irrelevant just so long as we get it stopped without using lithobreaking.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

America hasn't run out of creativity.   It just ran out of the moral fiber to apply itself towards the betterment of mankind.   It now thinks the key to "greatness" is to hope the world won't notice if it aggrandizes itself (superficially) at the world's expense (substantively).

If has ran out of the sort of creativity that makes the world better.   It still have plenty of creativity left where it comes to finding more shortsighted and idiotically selfish ways to eventually crash and burn.

Or, even if you don't like them, you may still have them while on the way there.

You mean a teenager who got knocked up will go down in history as the first person on mars as the result of republican coup d’etat via stolen Supreme Court appointments?
