A dolphin is a mammal. The person who made the tweet I posted about denied that dolphins were mammals. THEY ARE MAMMALS! Muddying the waters by treating laypersons usage of the same word a scientist may use causes that kind of bullshit denial.

He’s not muddying the waters, it seems he’s using layperson language, because he is a layperson, while you’re uinsisting he use the scientific definition, in a context unrelated to science, in an argument among laypeople.

Some people say tators and some people say potato, but a potato cannot be confused with tomatos which are not vegetables but are fruit. Dolphins are akin to the same bullshit confusion. Dolphins are mammals and tomatos are fruit, not vegetables.

Driving after ingesting psilocybin would not be a good idea.

However, I'd rather hear someone is experimenting with magic mushrooms than coconut rum. Unlike alcohol, you cannot overdose fatally on psilocybin. Under the influence of an amount far outside the range of what would be considered safe, someone may hurt themselves or put themselves in a dangerous situation, so they're not totally harmless.

However, outside of mushrooms being far, far safer than alcohol, there's actually a huge amount of benefits to having a psychedelic experience.

There's no real benefit to being drunk. Other than loosening you up socially because you're too much of a pussy to go talk to the pretty girl at the end of the bar when you're sober. So there's that.
