I know, but it just sounds like a backwoods term. "Stay home, don't be a knucklehead" is even better.

Well, I can't hunker down. I've got to be at work, hurricane or no. Thinking I should head back to work in a couple of hours to get a jump on the roads.
Or maybe I'll go to Walmart and buy an inflatable raft. I wonder if they sell oars? Lol
