Daniel Johnston
Daniel Johnston died today. He was one of the great unsung singer-songwriters of the eighties. He lived with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but he didn’t let it stop him make these deceptively sublime songs. Today, he died of a heart attack in his home in Waller, Texas.
