Paradise Lost.......

I have a fondness for the 1980s so this sucks for me.
He wasn't particularly talented. He sang songs with catchy melodies - which were abundant in that era. It's a subjective thing but by my brain wiring, the 1980s was the absolute golden age of popular music.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
Albert Einstein  I did not know that Top of the Pops had access to Fraggle Rock. I just hope that they never let Jimmy Savile anywhere near it.

So strange when famous people you are fond of start dying. You don't know them personally, so you're not really affected by it on a personal level, but there is this sort of feeling you get hit with. Sucks to hear.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

Eddie certainly didn't effect me as much as say ABBA or Pat Benatar or Metallica, but in passing, I did like some of his songs.
I think this has to be one of my favorite songs of his. |
