Eternity

RE: Eternity
Outside of mandatory "Worship God" time, assuming there's any free time beyond that, I'd probably pick up a bunch of hobbies. Do all the things I couldn't do on earth because of financial constraints. That is assuming I'd even be myself in heaven, instead of some lobotomized servant of god who only does what he wants me to do, and thinks what he wants me to think. They say he wanted people to have free will, but then he punishes people for using it to branch out from what he approves of.

I don't really trust the concept of heaven, any more than I'd trust the god described in the bible.

I've started watching ant keeping videos, and I'm tempted to try it myself. Although I doubt I have the extra money to do the kinds of stuff the youtuber does with his ants. Making large, sustainable terrariums that are basically tiny ecosystems in his home.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

Indeed. If some random person you can't actually meet provides the real estate and the amenities and the staffing, then it's no different than checking into Hotel California -- you can never leave, and what if it's got bedbugs?

Outside of accepting Christ and receiving the saving grace that will allow one to be in heaven your 80ish years here will count for the richest that God will give you for living according to His will and learning all you can about Him prior to meeting Him in person. Those riches do not necessarily mean physical things either, they will be revealed in heaven.
Time has no meaning in eternity so one will not consider what one will be doing at any point, we understand that the limitless mind of God will fill our every day with plenty to do.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Indeed those "riches" means stuff like status levels Matthew 11: 11, "He that is least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than he.", so that means some Christians in Heaven will be bosses while other servants. And also, some will have higher ranks in Heavenly army while some low ranks. Probably those gung-ho weapons wielding Christians will be sergeants and majors while those pacifist Christians will be privates. No wonder so many Christians are violent - they don't want to have low status in the Heavenly army under General Michael.

And you can forget about eternity because Matthew 24:35 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." I mean Christians will be spending eternity in Haven that will vanish.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

And I've heard that eternity is like this

I mean they say "it's a true story of what happens after you die" - and can somone prove it's not true? Not.

I don't think I could ever get tired of riding my gravel bike.  Is it possible to injure yourself in a crash in heaven?  I wouldn't think so.  No rocks to crack your head on or dogs to run out and wreck you and no baby heads.  Just perfect flowy singletrack.

Suicide would have to be allowed in heaven.
If hell is a place you can't escape then heaven must be a place you can.
If you're allowed to do anything in heaven, I'll just go down to hell and bring everyone back with me.
I might even take over.

Even if under 10 years old, I still wouldn't bank on it.
