Think about this - it is entirely likely that a priest killed a pedophile in a jealous fit of rage when he confessed to the priest that he was banging the priests favorite boy.....
And the church covered it up.

Think about this: in the 16th century, the Church introduced the confession box to prevent the rampant sexual solicitation of women by priests, but this private space gave rise to new forms of temptation for priests.
