Many years ago I went to look at a car that was located in the mountains. The seller said, "We're closer to god up here!"
I said that there is no way to be closer to or further from god. My son got the irony, but I'm certain the other guy didn't. I ended up not buying that car. The area had been flooded twice, and the frame was on the ground.
