"Laughing At Religion" Meme Thread
RE: "Laughing At Religion" Meme Thread
[Image: Farts.jpg]
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Look at the background, he may be a hoarder and that might include bodies.

Many years ago I went to look at a car that was located in the mountains. The seller said, "We're closer to god up here!"
I said that there is no way to be closer to or further from god. My son got the irony, but I'm certain the other guy didn't. I ended up not buying that car. The area had been flooded twice, and the frame was on the ground.
