Let's see...my cardiologist is Hindu, my PCP is Jewish, and the plastic surgeon I had when I had breast cancer is Christian.  Being in a pretty diverse area, I assume that the staff that has taken care of me has run the gamut of beliefs and non-beliefs.

Which God is in charge?  All of them, one of them, some of them?

It's funny, though - I see four doctors on the regular, and I have no idea about the religious leanings of any of them. And I don't particularly care.

As for Neo thanking God for (essentially) inventing medicine, that seems rather pointless. If God hadn't allowed for illness, disease, and accidents, there would have been no need for medical science.

I'd also like an answer as to what happens if the doctor prays to the wrong god.  Does that gum up the works?

It is a book which any reasonable, intellectually honest, and intelligent person should heartily dismiss as bad fiction.  

But the books which you prefer -- the ones you refer to ad nauseam -- were written by a conservative Catholic who said that the purpose of life is "to increase according to our capacity our knowledge of God by all the means we have, and to be moved by it to praise and thanks." He took the Bible seriously. 

So it appears that the books you talk about all the time were written by a man you judge to be unreasonable, intellectually dishonest, and unintelligent.

It is also a fact that the authors of the various books of the Bible (OT and NT) are unknown. I suggest you do some reading on the history of the Bible before making such silly claims. Wrong! I do not judge people by a "measure" you have dishonestly invented. Anyone can sincerely believe in the Bible and also be sincerely mistaken about what they believe. If you persist in this dishonest behavior, I will banish you to The Penalty Box.
