In 2012,
80% of all europeans including (Russia) were religious
Country with highest number of atheists: Sweden, 45%
East Germany: 35% religious
West Germany: 90% religious
Germany, total: 56% religious
France 74% religious
Wikipedia:
Quote:According to a 2010 Eurostat Eurobarometer Poll, 51% of European Union citizens responded that "they believe there is a God", whereas 26% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force" and 20% said that "they don't believe there is any sort of spirit, God, or life force" and results were widely varied between different countries.
According to another Poll about religiosity in the European Union in 2012 by Eurobarometer 16% are Non-believers/Agnostics and 7% are Atheists.72% of EU citizens are Christians and 2% are Muslims.
Eurobarometer survey 2019, percentage of atheists (+ agnostics):
Czechia: 22(56)
Germany: 9(30)
France: 21(40)
Sweden: 16(50)
Where is this majority of atheists hiding if i may ask?
If you take the broader category of non-religious people which includes atheists, agnostics and others, then they are clearly a majority in several parts of Europe, and I would argue they are a plurality in most of Europe, when you take non-religious people as a single category, and each major religious community as separate categories, than non-religious people are clearly a plurality in most of Europe.
Also, when I say parts of Europe, those parts do not necessarily correspond to entire countries, but geographic regions within Europe where atheism and agnosticism is prevalent.

At work.

Seeing the strike out makes it worth being in the thread.
Okay, I'll leash my Snark and take it a bit further away.

I think you've got a typo...
"This meme doesn't reflect reality since atheism is very widespread and is, fortunately, spreading quite fast."
There, fixed it for you.

Yeah, Tulayhah-Asadi, what do you care if atheism is on the rise or not? Are you maybe in religious business and therefore afraid that you will lose customers?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Jesus was reported to be a member of some nefarious personality trinity -
So finding out Jesus is non-binary comes as no surprise......

Here's something I have also been pondering about: why don't Christians do a proper cross sign while crossing themselves?

But they do. It just happens behind closed doors when alone with a small child.

Finally I can put an appropriate meme for today
