Here's the flaw with plasma swords: I don't think plasma can clash with other plasmas in an opposite direction.

I don't like the "diving suite" universe where generals fight in pajamas with colorful laser that they think it's plasma........

1.  Why don't you think that?

2.  I think you mean 'Star Trek'.  Phasers are neither laser weapons nor plasma weapons.  You have every right to dislike 'Star Wars' or 'Star Trek', but the least you could do is get your facts right.
