polls, Americans don't think about Russia

Anywho, nothing about that poll says or even could say that americans don't think about russia.  Seeing as how it's full of winger lingo and canards, the link drop isn't really surprising.

I don't think that the situation with russia is issue no1 for us either.  They're a broke ass state with delusions of grandeur.  OFC russia is going to peddle conspiracy theories and push it's boundaries for a better position in the world order.  The actions of people in this country, and this administration, and this congress are more of an issue than anything the russians have done or could do.

they lost in the cold war and they have a patriotic ideology

too much news about an undeveloped country with a commodity economy

Gallup Survey Shows Less Than 1% of Americans Think Russia is an Important Problem

Because, as we all know, Americans can’t imagine more than one problem facing their country at a time.

IDK how much news is too much news..but there's next to no news about russia in the US. Our news is usually about us. There's plenty of news about crimes that americans have committed in service of their russian handlers, for example, lol.

I would like for Ukraine to have little news about Russia, but more about the Great Seven

I'm unfamiliar, but a quick google search turns up the seven wonders of ukraine. I assume that's not what you're referring to? If a foreign military was occupying the state of texas....there probably wouldn't be many local specials on the grand canyon trail or the empire state building's observation deck getting airtime. 24/7 Texan Resistance coverage, with our favorite infotainment stars embedded.

I think he's talking about the Group of Seven (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US), which appears to be called something like "the Big Seven" in Russia, if the Wikipedia article and Google Translate is any indication.

Oh, okay, yeah. Cool. Still seems to fall into the same category though. Texas is occupied, G7 news is on the ticker, not the screen.

Again I don't know what qualifies as a little or a lot, or too little or too much when it comes to news..but with respect to news about other stuff? No there's not alot of g7 news in the us either. I forget it even exists until I'm reminded.

I suppose, in a perfect world, russia would withdraw from ukraine and then it would be a slow news day and there would be more space for g7 stuff (or viewer sent kitten pic comps), for ukraine. Or our president would suddenly vanish into the worlds smallest black hole and then it would be a slow news day and..the same. Until such a time I can't see the g7 getting more coverage than it is.

RE: polls, Americans don't think about Russia
I don't personally think about Russia that often. They're certainly not a threat to the U.S., in the sense that I wouldn't be too worried if we had to go to war with Russia. Beyond that, I'm not really sure what the point of the original post is...?
