Right now I want to know, which I already do, because of an episode I am watching right now, what famous Miami singer hit the top charts in the 80s? Her song was featured on Magnum Pi.

If you already know why are you asking?

Well, it wasn't explained and therefore not seen as such.

You know it's only funny if you take the time to explain it, 'cause that's how humor works.

I have no problem with you. You found me a rare version of 99 Luftballons.

Mr. Obsessive - how about we refer to that as saving you from Hurricane Nena?

It was hurricane Florence. And thank Gawdzilla.

I don't know, because it is fun? I am sure you have things you are interested in you like talking about. Is what I am asking a matter of national security? No.

Gloria Estefan. The song was ‘Conga’.

And you described her earlier as ‘latino’, which is incorrect.

For those interested, the following song was sampled in the Original Magnum Pi episode.

Latino and Hispanic are used intertagibley. If you want to accuse me of getting that wrong, Then argue over how there are different British accents, and that the Scottish and Irish and English have their differences, which they do.

The point was to point out to pasty white people, who cling to bigotry, to stop being bigots. If you are expecting me to be perfect in everything I say, forget it.

‘Latino’ is a masculine noun. Since Ms. Estefan is female, she is properly referred to as a ‘Latina’. It isn’t an ethnic thing, it’s a grammar thing.

I can guarantee you that I don’t expect you to be perfect.

Why do you always bring up Trump? I mean, he’s got nothing to do with Magnum PI (although it wouldn’t surprise me to learn he’s a fan - it’s about his speed). What does your having used the wrong word have to do with Trump?

Oh, wait...’intertagibley’.
