One of these days I want to try alcohol pickling rather than brining bacon or ham, before smoking. I do my venison jerky that way. Delicious but without all the sodium...

I mailed a "CARE Package" to a friend in South Africa. He had a "US tasting party". The pickled pig's feet was a huge hit.
