LIFNANO ? could it be the cure for Multiple Sclerosis ?
In 2018, I read about a new "nano" technology that is developed to cure "Multiple Sclerosis", I made a short youtube video about it back then:

Quote:LIFNANO is a new approach at curing Multiple Sclerosis through the using of "LIF particles" loaded on Nano particles.

The package is then sent to the damaged part of the brain to reinforce remyelination at that part. The founder of the idea is Dr. Su, you can check the headline at Cambridge University's website: https://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/busi...

The treatment is such a breakthrough if it ever worked and came to the market, because we're speaking about remyelination and not just a slowing down of the progression of MS. This is insane, I hope it works.

Well; now that we are in 2020, I'm feeling very hyped to see the results of the clinical trials.
Do you think this will be it for cracking the secret to treat M.S ?

I was diagnosed in 2015, I remember the shock back then, I even wrote a topic about it here on AF:

Ah, 5 years? it has been 5 years..

So back to this reality :Smile what do you think about LIFNANO ?

What human clinical trials? From what I see they have yet to get enough funding, but maybe I missed something.

Using the word "cure" is premature at this time.

Hang in there, advances are being made all of the time.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

In full honesty, it's a leap of faith based on both my trust in Cambridge's staff, and a vision I share with many about the future of "embedding technology in human bodies".

The advances of stuff like Exoskeletons and google glasses make me hyped towards nano, especially after seeing what humans can do when integrated with machinery.

Ah; but you have a point; brewer. Premature and "too dreamy" on my side, but worth the hope..especially if they anounce something good after the trials

You do understand that the "nano" part of the name is a drug delivery capsule/particles (an antibody coating) to get the LIF into the brain. That it's not nano mechanical tech inside the patient.

I understand "nano" to be a very small particle; despite the "content" loaded in it -either technological or biological-.
