Hell is justified.
RE: Hell is justified.
Imaging that you totally, absolutely need superman doesn't mean that superman exists. I think that you have a dim view of humanity, influenced by what may or may not be a deserved low opinion of your own. At the very most, you and people like you need superman, to do vengeance to people and give you torture boners.

I, do not.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well, he's got a point. Magic book says that you get Houri with massive tits - never been touched by a man. In paradise, you get what is forbidden in life, like rivers of wine. Conceivably, these balloon breasted sexbots might even pack peener - for good muslim men who like penetration.

It's those ridiculous hadiths that say 72 virgins.

It's just this eldritch creature that we can't relate to, who tortures people when it has nothing better to do. Completely alien, and horrifying. Like trying to appease the storm, or the volcano, so it doesn't do as much damage as it could.

Of course we can't relate to God unless we want to be "Gods"; just like the ancient Greeks or ancient Egyptians. The only problem is that we aren't Gods, we can't even relate to God.

Here I suggest that we relate to another thing that we understand: our human nature.
Being mere "humans" with "flaws" and "weaknesses" will make us understand and realize that we need "God"; ego and child-dreams of nations before us about becoming "Gods" would evaporate, and instead of ego we will embrace humility.

Yes there is a God above us that tortures anybody who crosses the lines he drew; instead of having "child-dreams" or let me say "Satanic dreams" about becoming Gods ourselves, let's admit that we know nothing about God but what he revealed about himself, he is the eternal refugee, he is what keeping life and the universe alive, his mercy covers all and his punishment is subject to his justice.

If we can't relate to him, how can we connect with him, and care about him? We can relate to other people, and support them, and thus they can support us. We need them in that sense. This god that we can't communicate with directly, and connect with and empathize with, is not something we need. Especially if he's as evil as you're making him out to be. He tortures people who don't do exactly what he wants, and what he wants can't be achieved, so we're just left with begging him not to hurt us.

He has not revealed anything, since we're still bickering about who he is, and what he does thousands of years after he supposedly started telling people to write about him.

We can relate to ourselves though; knowing what hurts us and what is good for us. I'm not making him "evil" since I said explicitly that he is merciful; but if you translate "justice" to "evil" then that is your damaged vocabulary.

He did reveal, and billions believed in his revelation; blaming the war that is burning between "believers" and "non-believers" on the first party is not fair; especially when we compare the body-count each party dropped -with your party winning the contest with the invention of atomic weapons and causing two mass extinctions on two whole continents -the Americas-.
