Funny thing is we can say that too Biden voters because you backed a candidate who will lose too Trump and even if he wins by some miracle will be too weak to do shit against Republicans .

I’m voting for Bernie; what are you talking about? But, if it comes down to Trump versus someone who’s not Bernie, whoever they are, they’re getting my vote. I don’t like Biden at all, but no one even comes close to being as categorically awful and dangerous as Trump.

Quote:It's a fair principle, but the repercussions of allowing Trump and Republicans another 4 years to do things like make the Supreme Court conservative for the rest of our lives, are not worth it. Seriously, what you're saying is extremely silly to me.
He's already done that because the DNC were stupid and went with Hillary an awful candidate .Now their doing it again .

Quote:Voting is our power. Power is best wielded pragmatically. The primary is the time to be idealistic, that's what it is for. Once things are said and done, and you have a choice in November between people you may not like, don't pretend they're equal because they're not perfect. That doesn't make sense.
Too bad the DNC doesn't believe that because when asked the candidates with the exception of Sanders said they wouldn't back the person with the most votes

No. If we keep "voting blue, no matter who" nothing will change. Why would it? If it doesn't matter who they put in front of us, because we keep voting for them, then they're just going to keep shutting out everyone who actually wants to change the system. It's their fault for not giving us someone to vote for.

Why else do you think the democratic party keeps moving to the center, or right of center. Because they compromised too much, and didn't stand their ground. At some point you have to just draw a line in the sand, and never cross that line.
And, I 100% agree with everything you just said here. But, we can get Trump out, and then tackle that problem, can’t we? I feel like it’s a false dichotomy being presented here. Either vote Trump out or take a stand against the DNC. How about first one issue; the most pressing issue as it relates to the state of our very republic, then we work on the other?

As i said if you voted Biden he will lose and you'll get Trump anyway, And if he wins it will be as if he lost because he will not be able to stop the Republicans.

Quote:But, we can get Trump out and then tackle that problem, can’t we?

No we can't because the DNC is part of both problems

Quote: I feel like it’s a false dichotomy being presented here.

It really isn't as the DNC has made i clear only certain candidates get in and will happily sabotage campaigns

Quote: Either vote Trump out or take a stand against the DNC.

We vote Trump out and tell the DNC to go fuck itself .Bernie winning does both .Biden winning does neither .

Quote:How about first one issue; the most pressing issue as it relates to the state of our very republic, then we work on the other?
There the same problem

The republican party is not nationally viable. Let that sink in. You guys aren't losing because people like me aren't voting, you're losing because you've agreed to play a game with people who haven't just tilted the table against you, they flipped it over and burnt down the house it was sitting in. Where it's a race to the bottom, on a perpetual cletus safari for the mythical independents and swing voters.

The Court has only a weak conservative majority. Once RBG dies, they have the opportunity to make it stronger. You gonna act like it doesnt matter if a Dem or Repub picks her replacement?

Fine, forget the court. Do I need to list the ways in which anyone left of Center is harmed by conservative policy as opposed to Dem, moderate or not? Come on

Well Bush was really bad, and we took him out, and then a lot of people tried to back Bernie, but he got cheated, and now we have Trump. So it won't matter much if we get a better candidate in, if they're still bad enough to make everything still categorically worse by the time we're out. Remember, we have Trump now because Obama didn't do a good enough job, and people really didn't want more status quo.

Bernie got "cheated" by not getting enough votes. Probably going to happen again.
