Now - do you think mandatory vaccinations will be ordered by governments (yours, mine, whatever)?

Who makes the vaccine? They have been saying all along it eould take 18 months to get US FDA approval for one.

I would be dead against using a vaccine approved of by politicians and not medical professional.... That is what you would get prior to FDA approval....

I think it’s probably a safe bet that and vaccine would be approved prior to making the inoculation mandatory.

US? That would imply that Trump would have to take it.
I can't see him rolling his sleeves up for anyone.

UK, don't know, they'd actually have to order enough for everyone...

The problem with big pharma, worldwide, is that everything drug/medicine related is measured in profits.

There are some things in life that should not be shareholder billionaire based.

When the delusional selfish theist argues for "freedom of", they are arguing for their own selfish narcissism, not equality, in which freedom is not "no rules" but with the same responsibility that leads everyone to stop at a red light at an intersection.

What does this have to do with mandatory vaccinations?

Boru

HUMANS.

Some sane people get it, others asshole delusional morons don't.

If it works, you mandate it.  But that never stops assholes who ignore facts.

A vaccine would be mandated by certain employers in the U.S.. It would become part of medical credentialing. Universities and public schools would require it. Remember, the shut down here began from the bottom and worked up, not top down. Healing and recovery in the aftermath will work the same way.

RE: Mandatory vaccinations?
I have seen posts by people losing their minds over the potential of mandatory vaccinations. The usual suspects, ofc, spewing autism scares and religious freedoms...just like all the anti-vaxxers have done with every other vaccine.

With the control Trump and his cronies are taking over the country, my worry is that the order would come down from people who have no fucking clue about science - medicine specifically.

It's going to take time for a vaccine to be tested for safety and even more time to prove one is effective. Our instant fix people in charge just seem to want to appear as though they are doing something, anything, even if it's wrong.

Well, this can of worms is well and truly opened. A prize to the person who makes the most accurate prediction for their locality/state/whatever. (I'm serious about that.)

Trump and cronies go first - on live TV.  HIPPA be damned.

Trump is a well known (and self-confessed) germaphobe. I’m not sure but that he’d be first in line for a jab.

I'm so tired of this debate which should be a non-issue.

In the US it will most likely come down to the individual states, with the epidemiology, transmission and CFR being factors on the mandatory determination and how it's enforced.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Yep, he's just full steam ahead to re-open the country! He has publicly given medical advice WHILE saying he isn't a doctor! What the fuck he should have started with the not a doctor part and then just stopped.
