teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I just renamed my phone "Titanic".
Now when I plug it into the computer it says "Titanic" is syncing. So I quickly unplug it!

RE: Titanic Anniversary.
One of the best jokes I pulled verbally was on a college adviser.

When the Leonardo version came out in 97, my x was still taking classes at our college, and I teased our advisor about the movie. We had mentioned to our advisor that we, over the weekend had seen the movie. Our advisor had not seen it and was chomping at the bit to take the time off to see it. I personally thought it sucked, but that is a separate story.

Anywho, upon telling her(the advisor) that we had seen it she exclaimed "DON'T SPOIL IT FOR ME" And I responded, "The boat sank". I KID YOU NOT, her response was, "Why did you tell me that?"

SERIOUSLY? It is a movie based on a historic period piece. There is nothing to spoil.

Sadly the KKK and Neo Nazis even today want to rewrite history.

If you cant accept that Hitler lost and Japan was nuked into submission and Mussolini was lynched for being a dick, you might be an asshole.

Point being, NO SHIT!

I don't bother with them, my cousins are ass deep in that shit and it isn't helping them at all. I am getting to teach a distance education class for active duty people starting in June. It's open ended, so we can get down into minutia as far as we want to go.

Unfortunately on a planet of 7 billion, there will always unfortunately be tribal, delusional humans.
