That's a fascinating perspective. How do you explain the garbled mess that is neuroanatomy? There's so much in the human brain that's either redundant, dysfunctional, or implemented in such horrible ways that would make any sane designer run shrieking into the night. You can extend that statement to anatomy in general and to the genetic code. Even a cursory examination of any of these reveal systems that look like an assemblage of bad accidents. They're incredibly organic.

BTW, your arguments from "I don't believe science thus God" aren't impressing anybody. They make you look more than a bit clueless.

Of course good luck getting them to answer what would count as non designed .

If its works well, its design because god is a good designer.
If it doestt work well, its also design , because god implemented bad design on purpose.
If you have evidence that design is BS, the devil deceived you with made up evidence.

Except that it doesn't even look like bad design. Bad design would imply an incomprehensible/incompetent/uncaring/malevolent deity. I can see it for a trickster god, if one really wanted to go through all the effort of making our genome an incomprehensible mess, but that seems like a whole lot of work for little gain. It doesn't fit the Abrahamic deities very well.

Design is easy to spot, not so much by what it is but by what it isn't. You don't put a lazing cavity on a sail boat, you don't put a rudder on a web sever, you don't worry about the bandwidth of a toothbrush, and you don't rate an optical interferometer on its ability to remove plaque and tartar. We notice Paley's pocketwatch on the beach because the rocks and sand and seaweed don't look designed.

That is an interesting question. One I have asked many times without any actual answer. Because they have no idea what an undesigned universe might be like.

A case in point is the watchmaker argument. If you were walking along a sandy beach and found a watch, you would immediately know it had been designed. My next question to that is always this.

Did not your god specifically design every grain of sand on that beach? Yes or no?

If yes, then you cannot distinguish any design because everything must perforce be designed.

If no, then your god did not design everything.

That is usually greeted with a whole lot of silence.
