When you replied to me with a phonetic spelling. Whatever it was weird to me and Eh reads like a short e sound to me which isn't correct anyway.

I noted the proper pronounciation because I have only recently learned I was saying it wrong and do that to remind myself. If you was scolding you I'd use nuclear weapons.

Hmm. All this time I've pronounced it "Eye-la" (short "a"). But I don't drink it, as I can't stand the strong peaty taste. My first experience was with Bowmore. >.< I left most of the bottle unconsumed in my hotel room when I left. I was on travel at the time.

Got a bottle of Bruichladdich mailed to me from Scotland. $160US. I drank it, of course. But mental note time regarding "peaty".
