My point, the only point, was, THAT. rappers. DO. NOT. SING.

The other Brian said:
Yea, but there is still to this day, a deep hypocrisy between when white artists sing about sex and violence, and when black artists sing about the same topics

To which I replied that the black artists that actually sing, don't touch on these subjects too much.

Ha ha ha ha really?

No sorry, if Motley Crew rapped "Girls Girls Girls" instead of singing it, would that be any different?

If Eric Clapton rapped instead of singing about shooting cops, would that be any different?

Give it up. You simply don't like the genre.

FYI, I can't begin to tell you how many white people not just in America but also in places like Australia love country music, but will cringe if you play Metallica. While Metallica does sing sometimes, most of the time it is gravely shouting.

When you listen to "No Lives Matter" it sounds to me a lot like tons of metal and death metal I have listened to.

Whatever. I never said the motley fools could sing. You seem incapable of understanding.

Don't confuse the lyrics and message with taste. "Girls Girls Girls" isn't exactly Bob Dillon. I agree. But as far as their voices, are good. ABBA also doesn't set out in every song to make you think about world peace and the Higgs Boson particle, but they also have voices, and they did well.

But as far as this one particular song "No Lives Matter" it is as deep as Dillon, and extremely relevant today. I like it because it reminds me of "Blackened" by Metallica and the message about how humans are destroying the planet. But with this song, his message is about how blacks and whites are being played by wealth.

Just say you are not into Ice T. I get it. But to claim he sucks is bullshit.

I also know lots of rock/metal fans who think all country music sucks. I disagree. I am not into country, but like rap, I have found a few songs I like.

And if you must know, I never liked Bob Dylan's voice. But I have long since accepted that his lyrics were of the time and socially aware.

Still, you don't get it. Not sure how I can make it any clearer.

Ok then, what is all this bullshit about black singers who sing and don't rap have a tendency not to sing about sex and violence then?

I just pointed out to you tons of white bands who SING about sex and violence who are SINGING and not rapping?

Please explain to me what the difference is?

It wasn't about the fucking message! Not at all. It was about rap not being singing. That's it! Do you get it now, or should I type slower?

This to me sound a hell of a lot more like hip hop, and it is a song about a guy focused on physical attraction and not anything deep.

This is an oldie but goodie, and not exactly deep either. Now, please tell my you cant hear Debbie Harry TALKING in this song as well as singing.

And not only did I think Debra Harry was sexy, in "Rapture" there is a line about shooting someone dead and eating their head.
