The biggest issue is that this disease does not feel real to Americans, thus the potential for conspiracy theories. Americans are hyper-individualistic (the absolute worst thing about our culture, I think) and have a childish notion of freedom and liberty, so having to wear a mask is TYRANNY. Also, social media is chiefly responsible for a lot of this garbage.
It's just so sad. Seriously. Anyone have suggestions for where to move after this? In classic American fashion, I only speak English.

Wait it out. If things keep up the way they have been, there will be fewer of those sorts of americans in america to make you think about leaving.
