That’s not really my call. But I wouldn’t be opposed in principle. We’ve had people with other beliefs come to our church before, including Muslims and Mormons. I personally don’t think people should believe something is true just because it’s all they’ve ever known. It’s better to be exposed to lots of different beliefs and make a more informed decision.

Hi. I suspect you think that atheists have a system of beliefs to which they adhere. Prepare to discover that you are wrong. Have at it.
I don't know that I would describe it as a system of beliefs. I would think all atheists would agree with the proposition that there is no god and, as a result, probably affirm some version of materialism... but the reasons why could vary widely from person to person. Other than that, I wouldn't assume there's much of anything that needs to be agreed upon (like some set of doctrines or anything). But, if I'm wrong about all that, it's a big reason why I would prefer to hear it directly from someone like you here. So, am I fairly close or way off the mark in my understanding?

Atheists have one thing in common and that is not having a belief in a god or gods. Other than that we differ in as many ways as you can possibly imagine. There's no system. There's no doctrine. There's no secret handshake (not that we'd tell you if there was ). We are quite a diverse group.
As for the taco thing...no one is always on the hunt for free tacos...you'll get used to it.

Welcome matey.
We have good and bad in all people, irrespective of beliefs.
There are liars in congress who pretend they are Christians (no atheists in congress as far as I know, which is statistically impossible).
So the atheists lie about being Christians and Christians lie about everything else
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Hi and welcome... It's a good idea to learn about the perspectives of others.
In this forum you will definitely learn a lot about atheist people.
Good luck and God Bless
