What I want is to not think you’re a bad faith actor. And I’m not even talking just Trump. I’m talking about the right in general. If you really hated both sides equally, why not take jabs at both sides more often? The only times I see you taking aim at the right, it’s either to equivocate (like saying that if Trump was pro-mask, it’d be the left who turned not wearing masks into a culture war thing) or to object to being called a Trump supporter, and frankly, if your sympathies do lie squarely with the right, then JUST. FUCKING. SAY IT. At least with someone like drich, you know exactly where he stands because he’ll outright say it. At least he doesn’t blatantly telegraph an ideology and get pissed off when someone tries to draw conclusions about what he’s thinking (well, except for racism).

I am also for a limited Federal government.

It appears the some members of the forum only want to hear Republicans - bad, Democrats - good. That is never an accurate across the board assessment. I despise Trump and the things that have happened, and been allowed, during his presidency. Do I think Biden is the one who can fix this cluster? Nope, but we were never really given a choice.
As in other elections I will be voting for the lesser of two evils. This time one of the evils is really diabolical.
All I hope for is Biden to win and stop some of this madness. Actually my real hope is that he wins so I can watch when they have to pull Trump kicking and screaming out of the White House...come to think of it, that's maybe why he has a wall around it so that can't be caught on anyone's cellphone to go viral.

That seems to be the consensus. Biden is unlikely to be the problem-solving savior people are looking for, but he’s less bad than Trump.
And marketing a candidate that way - ‘Vote Smith - He Isn’t Jones!!’ - is nothing new. It has a long and storied history.

And on the other topic this thread seems to have devolved into, I don’t think OLB is some sort of secret Republican operative. Simply because some people would like to pigeonhole him into a neat little compartment (and can’t do it) doesn’t justify labeling him as a Trumpite. He seems more concerned with policies than with parties. How is that a bad thing?
