It isn't brain surgery. Weather refers to the daily based on local, climate refers to long term averages for the entire planet. It is simply frustrating that far to many people cant grasp the difference.

Climate refers to weather averages, but not always to the entire planet. That’s why different regions have different climates.

Yea, but over centuries you are still talking about the entire planet's temperature and that effects all climates.

‘Affects’, not ‘effects’.

RE: I am so sick of climate change deniers.
When I first saw Al Gore's movie, I was skeptical of the points he was making. I should've been, because he glossed over any complexity in the science, and gave over-simplified evidence. By itself, his evidence was a bit shoddy.

Then I researched both the naysayer arguments, and the scientific arguments. The science won easily. The only thing you can remain skeptical of is the exact amount of warming, not that it is happening or that it won't cause huge changes to the planet in a short period of time.

But, I am trained as scientist. What about those that aren't? They have Fox News to help them feel good about themselves. Climate denial just feels less stressful, and we won't be alive when the real problems hit. If we can label climate change as a left-wing conspiracy to create a world government that will enslave humanity, we can convince our fellow political circle not to worry either. What's not to love?

Well, that and or how reasonable it is that we can actually fix shit before we reach the point of no return.

Personally, I’m delighted with climate change deniers. They’re easier to refute than astrologers and much more entertaining than spoon benders.

Stop being sick of climate change deniers.

Think of the positives that they are offering the human race.

As the Earth becomes more inhospitable to life as we know it, science and technology will either adapt to allow humans to live on other inhospitable balls of dust throughout the cosmos, or our species will go extinct answering once and for all the question of whether super intelligence is beneficial to the survival of species and also providing a possible solution to the reason we seem to be the only intelligent species in the observable galaxy.
