I keep hearing people say no one is coming for your guns. Yes I am. If you’re a crazy racist. If brandish your weapon when the old cat lady says good morning. And I know I already say crazy racist but cops with too many complaints. Enough is enough. Yeah I don’t want crazy stupid assholes to have guns.

I think firearms should be taken from the suicidal, should be taken from domestic abusers, should be taken from addicts, should be taken from violent felons. But I also think that better vetting at time of sale would avoid having to be reactionary after the fact.

Did you help him aim the firearm physically? If not did you give him verbal commands to help him direct the firearm? Or was it he wasn't totally blind, just legally blind as in he couldn't drive a car?There is a huge difference between being medically blind, and legally blind. Legally blind doesn't mean 100% of your sight is gone.

In any case giving your example does not change the fact that America is #1 of western first world nations in firearm injuries and deaths.

John, my friend from Oklahoma is legally blind and owns a shotgun. But unlike you, he agrees with me that we have a firearm injury/death epidemic and he agrees with better vetting, better regulations and isn't paranoid about tyranny when people suggest we have gun safety laws.
