PicoBlaze Simulator in JavaScript
#11
RE: PicoBlaze Simulator in JavaScript
I have tried to speed things up by using bitwise operations instead of string manipulation where it is easy to do. However, it does not seem to make a lot of difference. It seems to me I have misdiagnozed the reason my simulator is slow completely.

RE: PicoBlaze Simulator in JavaScript
Does anybody here have access to a real PicoBlaze computer? Could you please help me diagnose the problem with my "Decimal to Binary" example (second example from the left-hand-side) in my simulator, why it did not work on real hardware when I tested it (although it works in the simulator)? I have also asked this on StackOverflow, but I got no useful response.

Isn't there some tech site you can go to with questions like these?

While we do discuss a lot of things here, we aren't tech support.

And what is this subforum "Technology and Computing" supposed to be about if not tech support?

Lots of things, like ‘I got a wicked new game controller’ or ‘My printer keeps jamming’.

It’s not really a forum to ask for help with your homework.

That's not really my homework, that's my bachelor thesis.

You called it ‘a school project’. If you’re working on it at home, it’s called ‘homework’.

Do you know that you aren't really allowed to post the same thing on multiple platforms? We call it spamming.

Stop it.

Then is posting my work both on GitHub and GitLab and SourceForge also spamming?

It is not. See, our Forum Rules don't apply to other websites.
