And if she was a Republican, she'd have spent tens of thousands of dollars on underage prostitutes and the conservative media would have studiously ignored it.

So Kamala likes good cookware. ($375 isn't all that expensive)   Was it her money? Yes? Well fuck off then. Fucking cheek, trying to shame a person for not acting poor when she isn't.

And this criticism generally comes from people who complain about other people telling them how to spend their money

It would be news if she spent $375.00 on pot.

France is interesting when comes to pot. It suffers the paradox of having a thriving pot industry and the highest usage in western Europe while having the harshest pot laws in Europe.

I love high end Kitchen thingies shops. Bought things from one only about 10 miles away. Couldn't get them at Kmart. Eg: a ricer, candy thermometer a jar key and an olive deseeder. (does cherries too) Also a set of very good pans. I think they were around $500 for the set. Still have all but one. I burned the base.

I like kitchen shops too. I bought an awesome new German Steel Knife Set recently got it on sale for about $200 and got a pretty good Wok set for about $150.

Not a paradox at all. Telling people they can't something always increases its consumption. Always, always, always.

I like kitchen shops too. I bought an awesome new German Steel Knife Set recently got it on sale for about $200 and got a pretty good Wok set for about $150.

I recently got conned-ish.

Bought a set of Baccarat knives. At the new kitchen shop. Opening special. Reduced from $799 to $399. Double ticketing is illegal in Australia. Some manufacturers put out gear with an inflated RRP, at which the product is seldom if ever sold.

After the fact, I know, but I  looked online; Amazon have the same knives, at the same price as do most sellers on Ebay. A few sellers on Ebay are actually advertising the knives at the higher RRP of $799. So I may not in fact have been cheated. But I fell as if I have.

Oh, the knives are actually pretty good. Made of high quality steel, not stainless steel. Wicked sharp. Sliced myself taking them out of the box and once again when I was dicing something and  not paying attention.  Very clean cuts which healed quickly leaving no scars.

Still very sharp after over 3 months and almost daily use. I have steel to sharpen them, but may use a whetstone.

Sorry to hear that. But also happy to hear they at least work. I almost always use a whetstone I like the edge it gives me. I'm very fussy about that.
