Anytime a Republican tells you voter ID laws aren't suppressing minority votes just laugh. The Fact is Voter ID laws are Unnecessary and Inconvenient. It's a made-up solution to a made-up problem.

1. This is a strawman no one saying you need a vaccine passport to leave your house (how would that even work ?)

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Trivia: Did you know Australia had its revolution? Well, more of a revolt actually; "The Eureka Stockade". The flag still exits. It's displayed in the museum in Ballarat Victoria, where the revolt took place.
The Eureka Rebellion occurred in 1854, instigated by gold miners in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, who revolted against the colonial authority of the United Kingdom. It culminated in the Battle of the Eureka Stockade, which was fought between rebels and the colonial forces of Australia on 3 December 1854 at Eureka Lead and named after a stockade structure built by miners in the lead-up to the conflict.[2] The rebellion resulted in at least 27 deaths and many injuries, the majority of casualties being rebels.

Is it really necessary for you to try to turn every thread into a lecture about Australia? I’m sure it’s a fine place, and the handful of Aussies I’ve met seem to be very nice people.

I have been doing so intentionally for several reasons.
(1) A member for whom I have respect got her panties in a bunch because I was criticising the US. On reflection, I concluded she was right and have tried not to do it. I hope to eventually find a middle way. In the meantime perhaps ignore any of my posts you don't like. Fair's fair ,that's what I do with yours.
(2) I happen to be Australian. .I know a lot more about my own country than I do about the US. I also think it's OK to make informed criticism of my own country
(3) Because you and others have failed to grasp the salient fact that Australia is the centre of the civilised world, not the US 
PS with only one exception, Americans I've met have been friendly and hospitable. The one exception was a petty official at the airport when I flew into New York. He was under the false impression that everyone is dying to live in America. Even the New Yorkers I met were friendly and courteous.
