My panties aren't in a bunch, thank you very much.  I was pointing out a pattern in your posts.

btw  - it may be a good idea not to say out loud that you ignore the admins on the forum...you know, the people with their names in red.

M'kay.

You might have noticed the emoticon with the eyebrows. That was to indicate I was taking the piss.

It is neither my practice nor intent to argue with one or more moderators.

That is all I have to say on this thread.

I think that ignoring the management is non-punitive up until they contact you with a complaint about behavior, and find themselves blocked. Other than that, if I were to ignore management's posts, I'd be fine, until there was a legitimate problem with me. Difference being, not using the "ignore" function. I have a few people on ignore, due to stupidity/annoyance/ignorance.

But, come on.

I have been doing so intentionally for several reasons.

(1) A  member for whom I have respect got her panties in a bunch because I was criticising the US. PS with only one exception, Americans I've met have been friendly and hospitable. The one exception was a petty official at the airport when I flew into New York. He  was under the false impression that everyone is dying to live in America.  Even the New Yorkers I met were friendly and courteous.

You seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that I'm an American. I'm not.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
