I think I've posted it a few times on this forum.

Be forewarned, though, it's an explicitly gay sex novel. Sure, there's a fictional supernatural plot, but the gay sex scenes are XXX.

Ah, okay. Not really my type of thing, sorry to say, but I might give it a look just to see how you write etc Smile

I like to think my writing has improved a bit since that novel. With the one I'm currently working on I decided to not delve into sexual detail. I posted the first three chapters earlier in this thread.

Chapter one is on page 25. Next two chapters on page 26.

I'm sure it's great...  but it's just different strokes for different folks; I can't think of anything more boring than romance/sex novels, but that's just me. As for the one you're working on at the moment, I'd rather wait for the finished product, but when it comes I'll happily buy it or read it to support you Smile

I have a vision for it being at least 88 chapters long. 88k words.

Might be a little while longer before I finish it. I've recently made some progress because I had time off from work, but I need to start looking for another job.

Must be a lot of these places where you are. I'd suggest moving up the food chain into management, so that the care you want to see provided to the patients still happens. It's obvious to me that you care a lot more than the people on the level that you are currently working do. Maybe you can effectuate some positive change, there?

Uncertain management is for me, but if I ever see an opportunity I might look into it. One of the main concerns is that those in management never help out on the floor, and it would never be an issue for me. I guess they fall into the trap of thinking they're above the labor, much like nurses who won't answer call lights or even get a cup of water for a resident.

This new facility seems as though it will be a good place to work. Decided to go back to a full time schedule instead of part time. Of course, time will tell how things work out.

The way my novel is progressing, I might not make it to 88k words. And just did a search rectifying my previously thought word minimum for a novel. Apparently, anything above 40k words is a novel. With this in mind, I'll probably see the novel ending sooner instead of later. No need to stretch it out just for a higher word count.
