Just pulled apple turnovers out. Not guaranteed edible, me and baking is a 50/50 shot.

Edit: Wife says two many apples.

15-bean soup. My best yet. It took me a moment to identify the odd green bits in it. Then I remembered that I had added a can of minced, mild green chiles.

Last two days have been great. A balmy 80f, which s considered warm but not really hot. It's meant I've been able to have salads, which I love. Prepared food during the day and bung it in the fridge. It's all very leisurely.

Also means washing dries in a couple of hours and floors within half an hour. I don't mean to mislead; housework is a least favourite activity after having blood drawn. Dodgy

I'm about as hip as Gomer Pyle.
