Pressure cooking 8 pounds of pork heinie. The recipe called for a rub and searing the meat. The rub is one thing, but I'm not going to spend an hour searing 8 lbs. of meat. Making BBQ pulled pork. It will be past my bedtime by the time I get all that vacuum-sealed and put away as it is.

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Lemon-lime cake and orange drink. I bought French bread and sliced mozzarella today, so I was going to make a sandwich when I got home, but it's a whole lot easier motivating to lop a couple hunks of cake off instead.

My wife and I split a really interesting pizza for dinner, wood fired thin crust, ricotta, garlic, sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto, thin sliced red onion, bosc pear and....honey. It's strange in a good way.

Haven't had Ramen in a while, so shrimp flavored with a can of corn added to it. Plus a splash or three of hot sauce with a sprinkle of garlic powder.

Lunch today: chestnuts from the electric fryer and nothing else.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
