Mom and I are enjoying sesame teriyaki chicken, with broccoli and mushrooms over rice. All homemade, including the sesame teri sauce.

Got a new sandwich grill, and made my first grilled cheese on it last night.

Despite getting rave reviews, I’m still trying to work out the kinks of it.

Notably, it’s inclined, sort of like a Foreman grill, but in the opposite direction. This may have led to some spillage and subpar cooking on the other side, Next time, I’ll try to put it on a different incline to see if that helps it.

Canned chili with sambal oelek. I was going to have bagels and pummelos, but my stomach has been unsettled and so I didn't feel like making the effort.

My hypothesis about reversing the sandwich press’ incline has shown better results.

Less spillage, and while one side is still cooked less than the other, it’s still improved over last night’s.
