Was it the cheese radiating from outside the confines of the bread or the odd pattern I ended up using specifically to contain the cheese?

It may be just the pic, but it looks very, very greasy or oily. I’m aware that most cheese seep oil when melted, but that seems excessively so.

But as I said, it may be just the photo.

It’s probably just the cheddar melting. Personally, I like to go until it’s carmelised.
