I am a bad speller, I have always admitted that. I simply find it absurd to act like it I am a serial killer for being a flawed human being, especially when I am not getting paid to publish anything. I promise, if I were a paid writer, everything I write would be filtered through editors. But, since this is unpaid, and nobody is earning a dime posting anytyhing, I think that is the slack you are rightfully defending.

Nothing to do with remuneration. I simply find it surprising that a man in his 50s has trouble with words like ‘field’ and ‘missile’. What’s troubling is that you recognize that spelling is a problem for you, yet you seem defiantly unwilling to do anything about it.

I’ll save commenting on your victim mentality for another time.

Yay, whining about his spelling without addressing any of the substance of his post. Good show!

Well, we could focus on your inability to spell and incorrect word usage.  Supposedly you are also educated but too lazy to learn the difference between accept and except.

Boru

I am damned glad you didn't raise me. I would have committed suicide as a kid.

Boru, I really cannot stress this enough. I am not perfect. But the persistance of you acting like I should shit perfection is annoying. Trust me, I am not going to change. So spare yourself the agony and let it go.

The world will not emplode, your junk won't fall off. I won't murder your family, I wont kidnap you and put you and GITMO and subject you to ABBA 24/7.  So please, for everyone sake, stop expecting me to shit gold.

And where did I claim I was a victim? I simply get annoyed and exausted in having to continually explain to you that I am not perfect.

This is why I get a lip twitch with the idea of space tourism. Yes it would be nice in theory if people could travel into space in mass cheaply like going to the beach. But the more vehicles we launch into space, and let orbit until they become trash, the more potential missles/bullets become a landmine for future vechles. One might look at it like polluting the oceans. Yes the oceans are big, but the more we over exploit, and the more pollution we dump into the oceans, the more our resources become threatened.

Scientists warn that too much space junk orbiting our planet will be simply like creating a mine feild that grows bigger and bigger.

I agree this is a problem and will only make space travel harder. It's going to make satellite communications riskier and not even going to mention the worry about how much of that stuff is going to come raining down on us. This is a problem we have to nip in the bud now or were going to pay for it later.

Yes.

The phenomenon is even named after some one who thought of it first/a while ago, 'Kessler'.

My thoughts are that 'If' the problem becomes worse. We will simply build vessels 'Tough' enough to withstand the near orbit environment.

Not necessarily 'armored' ships. Just 'Wipple' sheilds will do for most stuff.

Heck if Oumuamua and Comet2I/Borisov are any indication we'll need such methods for building space vessels any way.

Cheers.

That's possible. But doesn't that just kick the can down the road?

Even outside space exploration, humans have been "kicking the can down the road" on burning fossile fuels, and for far too long.
