If you worry about the college degree being about as worthless as a high school diploma, I can only say “Congratulations on recently awakening from your coma! I didn’t expect you to rejoin the land of the living after over a decade.”

And, frankly, on the OP, I have to say that Biden’s at least trying to make things better. Trump didn’t even try.
Reagan didn't make the US safer. His administration created al-Qaeda.
riddle me this.. what is the greater evil daily threat of thermal nuclear obliteration, or localized terrorist threats that would not become an issue for another 30/40 years? 30 to 40 years where any one of those presidents could have taken care of the problem before it escalated..

So far I think he's doing more than adequate. 1 to 10, he gets a 6.5.
ok fine you people... now what gives him a 6.5 out of 10? how he is handling the Mexican boarder? (be specific how he canceled the wall or how he is going to finish what trump started? again the wall bush started and Obama himself added over 700 miles to) how he is separating children at the border and keeping them locked up in separated (super over crowded facility). his dealinging with china/allowing china to annex Taiwan? his dealings with Russia allowing them to annex the Ukraine? maybe you mean his following the trump wrap speed plan to vaccinate the country, using the vaccine he said he himself did not trust and kamala said she would need to have it independently checked before she took it? higher gas prices maybe? This is what i meant in the op.. outside of orange man bad=biden must be at least 50/50 good.. i seldom get an answer truly attributed to biden's actual policies.. most of you like the stuff he does that was put into place by trump and he kept it going. but for everything else all of his changes have been met with disastrous results.

Congressmen/women would probably say YES.
maybe you are not aware we are currently being challenged by
North Korea, Iran, China, Russia internationally. while our cities burn from internal strife. maybe this for you is safe.. maybe threats of war from super powers on our own shores makes you sleep good at night.. or maybe you just don't know because the media hasn't told you, you should not feel threatened yet.. that's the interesting thing about this. it exposes the gaps in information between right and left.

Prior to the Biden administration, you’ve always been challenged North Korea, Iran, China and Russia. It seems more than a little disingenuous to lay this all at Mr. Biden’s door, as if it’s something that started on 6 January.
Did you blame civil unrest on the president when it happened under Trump?
Which superpowers are threatening war on your own shores? Is there some massive Russo-Chinese fleet anchored off of California that we haven’t heard about? Sources would be nice.

I can't help but wonder if you ever had anything to say about it when Trump was president, besides platitudes about how we need to protect the border. it was a bipartisan policy stared under Obama because the children coming were not being accompanied by their parents. the problem went out of control under obama, which was one of the reason trump pushed the wall so hard. it was this new wall and his policies that sent everyone home to enter legally that made the numbers of unaccompanied minors drop to record numbers. so no i did not make a fuss under trump because i saw it as subterfuge when compared to the Dim's under obama handling the same situation. but now biden's new norm sees twice as many children regularly as trump worst month through out his entire presidency.
Quote: On Biden, I don't like the fact that we're still keeping kids captive at the border either, but at least he's trying. At least he's not okaying a system that tells children to drink out of a toilet if they needed water.
he doesn't have to tell them as they are so over crowded they have no choice. as we are using the same number of facilities according to ted cruise visit last month shows with twice the number of kids and biden still will not identify this as a crisis...
Quote:On Russia, Russia, and the Ukraine? It's too early to tell, but I'm not finding anything too bad right now. Of course, that may change.
although they backed off, one does not activate that many troops and move them thousands of miles to go camping.. even if you do not feel threatened the Ukraine shat their pants..
Quote:Gas and oil prices? You probably should have thought of that before the Republicans decided it would be a good idea to destabilise the Middle East with wars in Iraq.
sweetheart in december 2020 we were paying pre 9-11 prices at the pump I've got pics of 1.56 a gallon seen tiktoks under a 1.00. i'm over 3.00 and this is before biden puts on his infrastructure/road tax.
Quote:Supreme Court packing? Need I remind you that the Republican Party has done some really fucking underhanded shit to get control of the Supreme Court, like creating some arbitrary rule that forbade them from replacing Scalia until Obama left office.
there was no rule sport, the dims simply did not have the numbers in the senate. remember when trump came in we had control of the house and the senate. which is still not the same as packing the court with 1/2 a dozen new justices. for those who don't know Biden is to add 6 new supreme court justices that he himself gets to choose which will effectively end this republic. He even said "none of the rights in the bill of rights are absolute" meaning yes he can go after religious liberties and guns but also go after freed slaves and women's rights as the court has that power. his court...

again sport you did not have the votes.
Quote:That clause of the Constitution that you say forbids DC Statehood is not as clear as you might think.
idk seems pretty cut and dry to me:
Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution that “[The Congress shall have Power] To exercise exclusive Legislation…over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may…become the Seat of the Government of the United States.” The article also stated that this 100-mile district would come from land ceded by the states so that the new seat of government would be independent of any state.

So, you’re afraid Biden will come for women’s rights and the rights of freed slaves, even though whenever I hear someone criticizing women’s rights or downplaying or even justifying slavery, they tend to be on the right.
I looked up where Biden said none of the amendments are absolute:
“Joe Biden” Wrote:But no amendment — no amendment to the Constitution is absolute. You can’t yell crowd — you can’t tell [yell]* “fire” in a crowded movie theater and call it freedom of speech. From the very beginning, you couldn’t own any weapon you wanted to own. From the very beginning that the Second Amendment existed, certain people weren’t allowed to have weapons. So the idea is just bizarre to suggest that some of the things we’re recommending are contrary to the Constitution. It’s not as controversial as you think. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s raring to abolish the constitution.

As I understand it, the proposal is to make the District of Columbia a state, and the government would be an enclave within, but legally separate from, it. The seat of government would reduced to the White House, the Congressional Complex, the Supreme Court Building and a few other locations. Thus you could have the national government under control of Congress (as it is now) and DC would be the 51st state.
Seems doable and constitutional.
