God is all seeing and all knowing, so he knows what you are going to pray about anyway, so why tell him what he knows about, don't waste his time, he's a busy guy!

Prayer in the name of Jesus, the Christ is reverent communion with GOD, and He says in the Holy Bible "pray without ceasing."

You could think of communication between a father or mother and their child... it's a joy for both parties, and arguably of benefit to the child at least.

From my personal experience, GOD is good, perfect! Smile

Considering any god you can think of is simply that - something you thought up - it gives us an insight to your ego.......

Oddly enough - we never hear of a god who has some personal problems or faults - which you would expect of someone who created man "in god's image"....

Same thing - but instead of your dog - you say it' s an invisible man who created the universe - your neighbors will all pitch in and buy you a building so you can tell everyone about it. Tax free.

Conclusion: people are dangerously stupid.
After the events of the past 5 ish years here in the states, I understand a lot more about how people can buy into religion.
If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.

Superstitious nonsense.

I talk to my kids and my kids talk to me. We can record it should we be in the mood. That never happens with your beardy fairy in the sky, does it?

Before then, I genuinely, truly believed that the vast majority of people were good and smart. I really did. I don't consider myself particularly stupid or naive, but I sure was.

Dogs talk all the time. (check youtube)

They mostly say love me and feed me, never heard them say obey me.

When god says believe and obey don't be fooled, that's man using a god puppet.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
