Life eating other life.

Life eating other life.
I really do hate the fact that life has to eat other life to survive. I don't care if it is Seagull eating a fish or whatever. In reality I accept, that even I eat other life. But sometimes in watching nature documentaries I hate the narrative.

Just today I was watching a BBC nature documentary which included the hunting habbits of Orcas or "killer whales". And in it they tracked the habbits of a pod of killer whales targeting the calf of a sperm whale.

I get that the Orcas need to eat like all life. I simply don't like the thought of the weak being food.

We're the only animal conscientious of its eating habits, majorly due to the morality we assign to every aspect of our lives.

The wolf is not bad for killing to eat. It kills to eat for the purpose of survivability.

Besides, if you really wanted, you could go vegan and then your mind would no longer be bogged down by the guilt of lost life in order to fill your belly.

I really hate this argument that because humans have more communication skills that we are somehow above other species. No, sorry, I wasn't advocating a utopia. I was simply venting about how imperfect life is. I still eat meat.

Seems rather counter intuitive to complain about that which cannot realistically be altered.

I shit too, but I do get annoyed by the "Charmine" toilet paper commercial slogan "Why not enjoy the go".  No sorry, I shit, but don't argue that I have to enjoy shitting.

I quite enjoy the release of excrement from my rear-end. That you do not just seems odd.

True story. A long time ago, I went fishing at a local lake, caught a fish. It was alive by the time I got it back home. I took it to my back yard and to my picknick table and laid it down as it was flapping, and used a big blade knife to cut it's head off. That has always stuck with me. But will it stop me from eating sushi or burgers or bacon? No.

Well, yeah, naturally learning to procur food for one's self via means of hunting and then cleaning the kill is a time honored virtue lacking in the apathetic supermarket experience.
