"I burned down that old peoples' home in self defence!"

Yeah, that works.

The Octogenarian ninja turtles had deadly razor sharp nunchuck hidden in their walkers.  When they pretend to trip as they rush out the exit, they were lunging for you.

Would I? If My superpower of choice would be killing people with thoughts. Like you see someone obviously evil and you think "Die!" and he/ she/ it dies.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Therefore, I pose this question to you:

If you are a superhero, do you think it is morally acceptable to kill a supervillain in self-defense or do you absolutely adhere to the no killing code?

What about killing in defense of others?

Huh

Hobbyists are sacrosanct. If we allow the killing of hobbyists, we could destroy entire groups of people that I like to make fun of.

RE: You're a superhero
I swear Jupiter's Legacy is Christan properganda masking itself as a Superhero "Drama". As for the question, it always depends on the nuance of the situation. The Avengers have killed before. When aliens was invading New York, they had to destroy allot of ships no doubt filled with aliens that they killed, for if they didn't earth would be gone. Even the Power Rangers kills the monster of the day.

The whole pro-life code in Jupiter's Legacy is so unrealistic and extremely childish. Not to mention the fact in doing so people are still getting killed. Sheldon doesn't want to encroch on free will but his code encroched on the lives of the people who died during the holocost. And yet still he's seen as the good guy that wants to protect free will? I'm sorry but his brother should be the arbitor of free will, but the narative makes it so that he wants to get rid of it, which totally contradics the the 1st half of Sheldon's brother statements that he said in the Hall of Justic scene.

Life is never Black and White, it's always gray, ALWAYS.
