Because ‘fry’ comes from the Greek ‘phrygein’ which was the name of a shallow pan in which food was cooked. Similarly, ‘broil’ comes from the Old French ‘brusler’, meaning ‘to burn’.

How do you refer to yourself as either Rational or Poet?

Brian' s use of English for poetry is not unlike Dr. Frankenstein's use of electricity to re- animate corpses.
