As a professional artist, not finding the pot of gold at the end of my rainbows fills me with sadness; then again, I can imagine a lot of disappointed people sifting through their pots of gold and wondering where all the rainbows are.

Those who have found the pots of gold aren't wondering where the rainbows are, because it doesn't much matter when they've got the gold. And it's not uncommon for those types of people to have generated art that is subpar from the subjective majority.
