what is the best email provider

what is the best email provider
I have a gmail acc, but I hate it. It's full of spam and it feels like death to use. Outlook I have to use for school, and it's even worse. Besides, I read that Google could read your emails. Fantastic!!!!

My dad says proton mail, but apparently it's very slow. Do you have any other suggestions? I won't be using it very much. I actually dislike emails, I like writing letters to my friends or calling them on the phone, and i have a discord account, but I don't use it much. Discord is too smug for me. Sorry that sounds really weird.

Also, for search. I use duckduckgo. Is this good or not? Sorry. I don't know anything about computers.

Thank you

I have been using GMX email for years and never had a problem with it. You can use it as email in a browser or as POP3 or IMAP with a stand alone email client. (I use postbox)

Using on the browser is fine, but you do get to see adverts, using Postbox (or any other email client like Thunderbird) means the emails can be saved on your computer so you can read them even if you are off line, you also don't get to see the adverts!
IMAP is just the way the email client downloads the emails from the server, works well if you read your emails on several computers, they stay sychronised so you don't need to think "did I save that email on this PC or the other one?"

Any probs setting it up drop me a PM I may be able to help

Since you’re 15 and likely still at school, have you considered forgetting about email and buying yourself a snowy owl?

I know people still use e-mail, but with the age of PM like Facebook and Twitter, and other social media, and phone texting,  I don't get it. I haven't used e-mail for years.
