Trump stated on Larry King's show back in the 90's that he was "a registered Republican; I'm a pretty conservative guy..." But he did criticize the Dems as too far left and the Reds as too far right. He also appeared on Larry's show in 1987, also stating if he ever ran for office it would be as a Retardican.
